About Our Team
The JCMG team consists of experts in the areas of business development, technical proposals, costs proposals, GSA schedules, federal acquisition regulations and graphic design. Each member brings over 20 years of experience and a considerable wealth of knowledge and success.
Business Development: Cassandra Ford has over 28 years of marketing experience in a broad range of industries including several 8(a) firms as Marketing and Sales Director. Her experience as Marketing and Sales Director with government contractors provides invaluable hands-on knowledge of gaining business with the federal government. She regularly teaches workshops on successful marketing to the federal government.
Technical Proposals: Felicia Gaston has over 27 years experience in preparing customer focused, business communication documents, including the preparation of successful Technical Proposals – responses to major government and commercial Requests for Proposal. Ms Gaston teaches technical proposal writing workshops nationwide.
Cost Proposals and GSA Schedules: Kevin Duncan, CPA, MBA has over 20 years of experience in areas of accounting and financial management in the government contracting industry. His specialty is supporting successful growth of small businesses, many sanctioned by the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program. Since 1994, Mr. Duncan has prepared and submitted hundreds of cost proposals for clients. Mr. Duncan teaches workshops on indirect rates and QuickBooks for government contractors
Federal Acquisition Regulations: Donnellda Rice represents a number small business concerns that are federal contractors. She focuses on issues incurred by federal contractors such as Federal Acquisition Regulation issues; Service Contract Act matters and the many other federal contract law issues; contract matters (subcontracting, buy/sell agreements/teaming agreements, license agreements, etc.); and other corporate issues such as employment law. Ms. Rice brings both her legal know-how and business acumen to problems of her clients, giving them the benefit of her 25 years representing businesses small and large.
Graphic Design: For over 25 years Mike Mathis has designed corporate materials for both large and small companies. His portfolio includes corporate capability profiles, corporate identity packages, sales sheets, brochures, ads, as well as an array of other business documents. He is especially adept at providing small businesses with a big business image on a small business
budget.
